I deleted my account by mistake. Can I get it back?

Yes, within seven days: you are locked out immediately, but nothing is erased until the grace period ends, and the emailed link or your office can cancel it.

Yes — as long as the seven-day grace period has not ended. Deleting your account locks you out immediately, but your data is not erased until a scheduled date a week later, and until then the deletion can be cancelled.

What happens the moment you delete

  • Your account is deactivated and every signed-in session is signed out, so access ends right away. That is why you cannot simply log back in to change your mind.
  • Erasure is scheduled for 7 days later. Nothing is destroyed before then.
  • You receive an email, “Your account is scheduled for deletion”, that states the erasure date and contains a Cancel this deletion link.

Cancel the deletion

  1. Open the email and tap Cancel this deletion. The link works once, and only until the date in the email.
  2. You will see “Your account is back” confirming that access has been restored.
  3. Sign in again with your usual email and password.

Noticed within seconds? The confirmation shown in the app right after you file also lets you cancel, without waiting for the email. Lost the email, or replaced your phone? Your community office can cancel a scheduled deletion on your behalf — call them, and you will receive an email confirming that they did.

If the date has already passed

Once erasure has run, the answer is no. Your vehicles, residencies, household-member rows, sessions, login codes and push tokens are deleted and your name and email are replaced; gate visit records are kept for the community with the link to you removed. To use the app again, ask your office to set you up as a new resident.

Good to know

  • Tapping delete a second time does not restart the clock; the original date stands.
  • Cancelling twice is harmless — the second attempt is treated as a repeat, not an error.
  • In rare cases erasure can be deferred past the scheduled date while you remain locked out; if that applies, the deletion status shown in the app carries a notice saying so.
  • The iPhone app has its own account-deletion screen with the same seven-day grace period.
