For someone who comes more than once — a housekeeper, nanny, dog walker, or a contractor working over a few days — you have two options depending on how long the arrangement lasts.
For this week: a multi-use pass
You can make one pass that works for several entries:
- Go to QR codes and start a new pass.
- Choose the Event / multi-use type instead of one-time.
- Set how many uses it should allow (for example, three visits this week) and how long it stays valid.
- Create it and share it with your helper.
A pass you make yourself can be valid for up to one week and works until either the uses run out or the week is up.
For a standing arrangement: ask the office
For help who comes every week with no end date, or a contractor on site for weeks, your community office can set up a recurring pass that repeats on set days and times and does not expire on its own unless it is given an end date. Give your property manager the person’s name, the days and hours, and their vehicle if they drive — they will set up standing access that just works each visit.
If they arrive by car
Add the helper’s license plate and state to their pass so a plate camera can recognise the vehicle at the gate. For a standing weekly arrangement, ask the office to attach the plate to the recurring pass so it is recognised every time.
Contractors and vendors
For a company doing ongoing work in the community, your office may register the business as an approved vendor with its own workers and schedule. If your contractor will be around a while, mention it to your property manager.
