Boards and treasurers ask for paperwork, so it's worth being clear about what invoices exist, when, and how to get a copy.
If your community pays nothing, there's nothing to invoice
The visitor-management platform is free, so most communities never receive a platform invoice at all — there's no subscription generating one. If your treasurer is looking for a recurring platform bill to reconcile, the honest answer is that there isn't one. See How billing works: what your community pays.
When an invoice does exist
An invoice is only ever raised for one of the optional paid items — text messaging (SMS), access-control integration, or white-labeling — or for a separate security service such as guarding or patrol. Those are billed under their own written agreements, so the invoice or receipt for them comes from that agreement, arranged with your point of contact.
How to get a copy
There is no invoice or receipt download inside the community admin — the platform doesn't surface billing documents to community or property managers. To obtain an invoice, receipt, or a statement of what you've been charged for a paid add-on, contact your point of contact (the team that onboarded your community, or the security company that operates your account). They can produce the document you need for your board or your records.
What to give your board
- For "what does the platform cost us?" — the answer is nothing; there's no invoice because there's no subscription.
- For a paid add-on — request the invoice or receipt from your point of contact and attach it to your board packet.
- For usage evidence (entries, refusals, violations, vendor activity) — that's not a bill, but board reports export straight from Run reports and export your community's data.
Leaving the platform
If your community ever leaves, there's no final invoice waiting and no early-termination charge on the free platform. You export your data and the site is closed down. Any open agreement for a paid add-on is settled under that agreement's own terms.
